Screwie Lewie’s Words of Wisdom:
1. Try to get along with the people around you. We’re all different and we need to be sensitive to this. Realize that in the world, we are made up of many races, colors and creeds. In spite of this, when you break us down to our basic needs as human beings, it is amazing how similar we are. We all look for love, acceptance and companionship at some level. We all have dreams and goals. We are really all very much alike. If we can see ourselves as very much the same, then it is so much easier to love, understand and accept the people around us.
2. Never stop trying to achieve the goals and dreams in your life. Life passes so quickly that if we ponder about second-guessing ourselves and hesitating too long, our window of opportunity will pass us right by. If we aspire for something, then we should work towards it feverishly and don’t let anyone stop us until we accomplish it. Life is short. We need to get moving! Before our life is over. The clock is ticking and WE WILL NEVER GET THIS TIME BACK AGAIN!
3. We’re not going to please EVERYONE nor make EVERBODY happy. Some people around us are carrying personal grudges, insecurities, and fears. That is why we can’t take it personal when people offend us in any way. If someone is not nice towards us, we need to only pray that they will somehow find their happiness. The important point is that we should never let negative or unhappy people bring us down from our state of happiness and optimism. We need to just blow these negative people off so that they do not bring us down WITH THEM. After all, We deserve to be happy!
4. Realize that people like to talk about themselves and about THEIR own interests and goals. If we need compassion or help from someone, we should first listen to HIS OR HER NEEDS FIRST. We should let them talk... and then after consoling them Only then will they be most receptive towards us. Then, we can express to them our needs and concerns. Not everything is about us. People will be glad to listen and help us…especially when we take an interest in them first. But we should be genuine. It feels good to help someone out. This way, Everybody wins.
5. Don’t look back too often. We all have made some bad turns and decisions in our lives. Let’s look at these wrong turns as lessons in life. Let’s learn from our mistakes and move forward.

1.- Trate de llevarse bien con las personas que le rodea. Todos somos diferentes y necesitamos ser sensibles ante eso. Comprenda que en el mundo existen diferentes razas, colores y creencias; pero cuando nos tratamos podemos ver que tenemos las mismas necesidades básicas como humanos. Todos buscamos amor, aceptación y compañía en algún momento. Todos tenemos sueños y metas. Es extraordinario ver lo parecido que somos, por lo tanto es mucho más fácil amar, entender y aceptar a las personas que nos rodean tal como son.
2.- Nunca te detengas. Trata de alcanzar las metas y sueños que te has propuesto. La vida pasa tan rápida que si nos ponemos a pensar mucho o esperar, las oportunidades se nos pasan de largo. Si nosotros aspiramos a algo, entonces tenemos que ver hacia adelante y no dejar que nadie nos detenga. La vida es corta y tenemos que aprovecharla. ! El tiempo corre y jamás lo hacemos regresar!
3.- Nunca vamos a hacer feliz a todo el mundo. Algunas personas alrededor de nosotros tienen inseguridades y nosotros no lo podemos tomar como algo personal, solo podemos rezar para que ellos encuentren su propia felicidad. Todos merecemos ser felices, no permita que nadie le baje la moral.
4.- Si nosotros necesitamos la ayuda de alguien, primero debemos aprender a escuchar sus necesidades, solo así podremos expresarles nuestras inquietudes y necesidades. Las personas estarán felices de poder ayudarnos especialmente cuando nosotros mostramos interés primero en ellos. Recuerde ser siempre usted mismo y todos saldremos ganando.
5.- No mire hacia atrás frecuentemente. Todos hemos hecho cosas malas y hemos tomado decisiones equivocadas en nuestras vidas. Pero tome esto como una lección de vida, aprenda de sus errores y vea hacia el futuro con optimismo.
6.- Lo más importante, no importa que pase en su vida…NUNCA SE DE POR VENCIDO! NUNCA!
